In order to promote industrial restructuring and upgrading as well as innovation in operational model, recommended by Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Casermatization, five people from Development Research Center of the State Council came to DOBE’s F525 Creative Woods for investigation and research, accompanied by Wan Lijiang, vice president of DOBE.
They visited some places in F525, including Heyi Pool (meaning lotus overflowing), Yuanshi (curbs) and backyard, to have a deep understanding of history of F525, and they paid compliments for the unique design and transformation of F525 Park. At the meeting, President Wan introduced DOBE’s operative model of “six into one” (that is, DOBE integrates investment, design, construction, attracting investment, operation, and service into one), and elaborates on differences between us (as a creative park) and other parks (such as Beijing 798).
“We are different from Beijing's creative parks. As we are targeted at enterprises, particularly cultural and creative enterprises instead of artists, we set the threshold for investment to focus on attracting cultural and creative enterprises to the Park, ensuring the Park's industrial cluster effect,” said President Wan. Researcher Wang Zhonghong pointed out that the business that DOBE operates creative parks is an emerging industry, and it is more a service provider of cultural and creative industry than the real estate.
