The Third Session ofFiveCouncil of Shanghai Association of Modern Service Industries has been held in September 22nd with president Zhou Yupeng as its host in which vice president and secretary general Zhao Xiaoding has made work report for Shanghai Association of Modern Service Industries. Through voting in the conference excellent businessmen in the industry including Wang Hui, general manager of China International Intellectech Corporation (CIIC), Pei Yigen, vice director of Citibank (China) Co., Ltd. and Jia Bo, president of DOBE Group had been appointed as the vice president of the third council of Shanghai Association of Modern Service Industries.
Shanghai Association of Modern Service Industries is a cross-department and cross-industrial non-profit legal person of social groups which constitutes institutions like major modern service industrial associations of Shanghai Municipality, academic associations and enterprise and institutions under their own free will with the review and approval of and registered on Shanghai Commercial Committee and Shanghai Administration of Social Groups. Currently, it has a membership of 356 member units, covering areas like financial service business, distribution service business, manufacturing service business, information service business, consumption service business, professional service business, cultural innovation business, community and housekeeping service business, etc.
President Zhou Yupeng pointed out as follows in the conference: against the background that Shanghai will basically accomplish the grand goal of “Four Centers” and become the center of technological innovation in the 13th 5-year Plan period, as the only social group naming after modern service industry in the city, the Association will make it its imperative goals to facilitate the development of modern service industry in the city and promote the development of emerging industrial system with modern service industry as its main body.
