In the evening of Oct. 26, the 2011 Shanghai International Creative Industry Week drew its curtain in the Red Mill. CPPCC Vice-chairman Li Wuwei, Deputy Mayor Ai Baojun attended the opening ceremony. In the ceremony, name plaques were awarded to the 2011 Shanghai Creative 12 Industry cluster areas by the culture creative industry representatives. DOBE President Jia Bo, representing the F525 Art Forest, accepted the name plaque.
Einku Networks, which created by the DOBE Cultural and Creative Enterprise Service Centre, gave a speech in the opening ceremony as the representative of plaque presenting enterprises upon the development puzzles of small and middle-size cultural and creative enterprises and also the supports obtained from the creative park. Since 2011, Einku Networks, as one of the free positioning enterprises into the DOBE Incubator Base, was given privileged access to the creative services by DOBE, such as investment & financing, legal consultancy service, brand promotion. And therefore, it achieved all-round development.
Together with DOBE F525 Art Forest another 11 parks were also presented the name plaque in the opening ceremony and they are: Zhangjiang Chuangxing Park, Chuangyi Workshop, Fashion Valley, Bund 1919 Shanghai International Industrial Design Centre, Shanghai International Home Textile Industry Park, Cypress Digital Design Creative Industry Aggregation Area, China 1912, Puyuan Science & Technology Creative Industry Park, CREA-INFINITY Creative Industry Park and Anken Green.
Shanghai International Creative Industry Week (SICIW) is a domestic annual creative event enjoying the most influence. Combining colorful exhibitions, forums, competitions, selection, workshop and journey of innovation etc., the activity provides a promotion and communication platform for the domestic governments, organizations, enterprises and creative personnel. It has drawn wide attention from the advanced countries and regions. America, Canada, Holland, Denmark, France, Germany, Korea, Japan, Australia, Brazil, Iceland, Hong Kong China and Taiwan China etc. have set-up the theme pavilions in the previous weeks for which many activities have been held and great achievement obtained. According to incomplete statistics, over one million visitors have attended the previous six weeks of which 70% are professionals. The week has become a name card to construct an international “Design City” out of Shanghai. And what’s more, it serves as a great channel and platform for the communication among countries, cities and enterprises to achieve amalgamation of cultures, capitals, technologies and industries.
