Recently, the 2018 (2nd) Boao Enterprise Forum cosponsored by China Business Herald News Weekly and QIYE.GOV.CN was grandly held at Boao Forum for Asia International Conference Center. This forum brought together political and business leaders, academic elites and other guests from all walks of life to look ahead at the bright future for the development of Chinese enterprises. Board chairman Jia Bo won the title of “Leading Figure in China's Cultural Sector”.
It’s reported that under the theme “A New Round of Reform Linked to a New Future”, this forum had six parts. Activities such as the annual awards, themed forums, keynote speeches, enterprise brand exhibition, Boao press conference, investment and financing conference, bank-enterprise dialogue, government fund application lectures and entrepreneurs' variety show were held.

At the forum, Ma Wenpu, vice director of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the 11th National People’s Congress and former undersecretary of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, delivered a speech. First, he proposed to grasp “four new things” in the new era: first, the new era; second, the new idea; third, the new goal; fourth, the new journey. At the end of the speech, he proposed five spirits that entrepreneurs should stick to and appreciated the contributions by enterprises and entrepreneurs to the economy and society. In his idea, these five spirits are the basic requirements for Chinese entrepreneurs and the solid power and source of China's economic development.
