On Sept. 20, the closing ceremony of the 3rd ICF 2018 was held at Hongqiao Art Center in Shanghai. The 2-month event for cultural and creative communities participated by nearly 100,000 people ended in a satisfactory way. At the closing ceremony, this year’s ten awards for cultural, creative, sci-tech and innovative enterprises and the Prettiest Community Angel were announced. The activities and exchanges promoted communication and cooperation in the cultural and creative sector, facilitating enterprises’ sustainable and healthy development toward a “Smart Circle”. So many wonderful activities made ICF a great event in Shanghai’s cultural and creative sector.

Focusing on Service Innovation, “Smart Circle” Boosts Enterprise Development
ICF is a large event in the cultural and creative sector participated by many sci-tech, innovative, cultural and creative enterprises and white-collar elites. The aim is to promote the cooperation and connection between cultural and creative enterprises and sci-tech and innovative enterprises, build a bridge between such enterprises and the financial capital sector, strengthen communication and cooperation between such enterprises in various countries, and promote exchange and cooperation among white-collar workers in such enterprises. The theme of this year’s ICF is “Smart Circle’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship”, emphasizing the construction of an ecosystem centered on “l(fā)ight companies” formed by asset-light, small-size, high-intelligence, high-growth and innovation-oriented enterprises. So far, DoBe parks have connected more than 5,000 light companies, forming a quality ecosystem by gathering resources and building service systems, to let light companies share resources and value and realize better innovation and development. Around this theme, this year’s ICF organized a series of wonderful activities, including a Cultural and Creative Contest, “Think Youth” short video exhibition, themed forum and multi-industry innovation month, healthy recreation for white collars, etc.
At the closing ceremony, DoBe Group’s founder and board chairman Mr. Jia Bo said: since the 3rd ICF kicked off in July, DoBe has worked with many cultural and creative units, social organizations and international organizations to carry out multi-industry innovation activities. In just two months, more than 100 activities were organized and participated by tens of thousands of people. Joining Hands to Promote Mutual Understanding and Connectivity in the Cultural Sector
DoBe Group regards developing the industry as its mission. In response to the state’s “Belt and Road” Initiative, to promote the development of cultural industries in countries along the Silk Road Economic Belt, at the closing ceremony, DoBe Group started strategic cooperation with national research institutes for the cultural sector’s innovation and development. It will have in-depth cooperation with cultural research institutes of famous universities and colleges, to conduct in-depth research on the construction of an index system for the cultural sector’s development, the establishment of indicators and index database construction in countries along the Silk Road Economic Belt. Roundtable Forum of Experts, a New Future for Offices of Cultural and Creative, Sci-Tech, Innovative Enterprises
At the closing ceremony, as one of the important parts of this year’s ICF, a roundtable forum on “Future Offices” was held. Mr. Jia Bo, DoBe Group’s founder and board chairman, Mr. Steven Wasylyk, Chairman of Borie-Manoux Greater China from France, Mr. Zhu Hailong, a partner of Vision Knight Capital, Ms. Hyejin Lee, CEO of THE MEME from the Republic of Korea, Mr. Liu Jiecheng from the Institute of Cultural Industries, Peking University, and Mr. Chen Limin, managing director of Shanghai Shengshi Taiping Investment Management Co., Ltd. discussed the new office models for cultural, creative, sci-tech and innovative enterprises in the future.
During the forum, the six guests had in-depth discussions on topics such as “the status quo of office buildings, industrial parks, coworking spaces, maker spaces, incubators”, “customer demand for office environment and service”, “differences and similarities between Chinese and foreign demands for office environment and service”. “opportunities and challenges for the future development of cultural and creative parks and scientific innovation parks”, “feasibility of coworking spaces and maker spaces in China”, which received rounds of applause and lit up the road toward future innovative services for cultural and creative, sci-tech and innovative enterprises.
Ten Awards of the Year Presented, Prettiest Community Angel Announced
The annual ICF award ceremony is a large gathering of cultural and creative, sci-tech and innovative enterprises. This year’s ten awards attracted attention from thousands of cultural and creative, sci-tech and innovative enterprises that contended for the awards. The high-profile Cultural and Creative Enterprise of the Year and the Sci-tech and Innovative Enterprise of the Year were respectively taken by Yanjiyou and Seeyon. Yanjiyou is a new lifestyle experiencing space integrating the functions of a physical bookstore, coffee culture, cultural and creative products, literature and art salon and featured experiencing center. Seeyon is the pioneer and leader of collaborative management software in China. It has held the largest collaborative management software market share in China for 13 consecutive years. Both companies deserve their award. WE" Star of the Year was taken by France’s 150-year old BORIE-MANOUX. Influential Cultural Person of the Year was taken by GUCCI Director and Sino Italian Design Exchange Center Florence Base’s CEO Corrado Galli (Italian), who greatly promoted cultural exchanges between China and Europe. In addition, the rest organization and individual awards, i.e. Creative Product of the Year, Innovative Enterprise of the Year, Institutional Investor of the Year, VC Investor of the Year, Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year and Light Company Service Provider of the Year, were respectively taken by FreeSpin VR Bike, Leke Unicorn, CMSC, Mr. Wei Gang (partner of Fortune Capital), Mr. Shang Zhi (founder of Ru Bespoke), Qibao360. The cultural and creative sector’s ten awards let us see the power of innovation and creativity and the thriving development in this sector.
Moreover, the result of the Prettiest Community Angel pageant was also a focus of much attention at the closing ceremony. This year’s Prettiest Community Angel pageant adopted the form of short videos preferred by young people. “Flying Mailboxes” were set in all DoBe parks, attracting a lot of young and energetic white-collar workers at home and abroad to participate. Monica came out on top of a thousand other contestants in the two-month contest and took the Prettiest Community Angel of the Year with 15,000 thumbs up on Tik Tok. It’s worth mentioning that the crown for the Prettiest Community Angel is designed by the world-famous architect and Expo Milano’s chief designer Mr. Stefano Boeri in person.
As the awards were announced, this year’s ICF drew to a close with warm applause from all the guests and the audience.
