DOBE Institute of Chinese Cultural and Creative Industries was officially established on March 30, 2011.
DOBE Institute of Chinese Cultural and Creative Industries aims at: dedicating to research on important issues on theory and practice in cultural and creative industry field, promoting the integration development of industry, academy and research, establishing and improving the operative mechanisms of cultural and creative industry research, combining theory with practice, and promoting the sustainable and health development of China's cultural and creative industries.
In the twelfth Five-Year Plan, it was first proposed that it should be necessary to promote cultural industries to become a pillar industry of national economy. Cultural and creative industries will be developed as an important strategy in Beijing, Shanghai and other places. The year 2011 has become the first year of Chinese cultural and creative industries. DOBE Institute of Chinese Cultural and Creative Industries will contribute to accumulation of researches in the field of cultural and creative industries, providing powerful support in theory and practice for development of the whole industry.
The Institute is mainly responsible for researches on policy interpretation, economic trends, urban planning and market analysis relevant to cultural and creative industry, which combine macro-research of industry with micro-analysis of case tracking and theory with practice, providing the relevant research and consulting services for the strategic development and project positioning of government and enterprise.
DOBE Institute of Chinese Cultural and Creative Industries will organize regular seminars, regularly publish important research findings, and provide research consulting services. Currently, the Institute has reached strategic cooperation intention with some famous industrial heritage value-added research institutions such as University of Padova in Italy. In the future, DOBE Institute of Chinese Cultural and Creative Industries will unite more well-known research institutions home and abroad, and partner with governments and enterprises, jointly promoting the research work in cultural and creative industries.
