Recently, the Urban Renewal & Existing Buildings Renovation Branch of China Real Estate Chamber of Commerce of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce was established. DoBe Group was elected as the organization’s initiator. DoBe Group’s Board Chairman Jia Bo was elected as the organization’s First Council’s Vice Chairman.
The Branch is Established, DoBe Group Gets Elected as an Initiator
The Urban Renewal & Existing Buildings Renovation Branch of China Real Estate Chamber of Commerce of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce is a national, industrial, specialized, non-profit social organization voluntarily formed by research institutes, enterprises and public institutes, social organizations in urban renewal and existing buildings renovation industries, with China Real Estate Chamber of Commerce of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and China Old Districts & Buildings Renovation Industry Alliance as principal initiators.
Since preparations were started for its establishment, this branch has attracted extensive attention in the industry. In nearly 5 months, it attracted attention from such industries as urban renewal and existing buildings renovation policy research, urban construction and operation, planning and design, real estate development, investment and financing, small towns construction, cultural tourism, cultural and creative industries, operations and services, information service, materials, etc.
According to the branch’s business scope and development orientation, it selected 90 representative enterprises as its initiators and held a grand ceremony to award nameplates to the initiator units.
At the assembly, the branch’s First Council and leading members were elected. DoBe Group became the branch’s initiator. DoBe Group’s Board Chairman Jia Bo and another 26 influential figures in relevant industries were elected the First Council’s Vice Chairmen.
As the branch’s initiator, DoBe will provide China’s urban renewal with richer and more advanced cases through its practice in urban office scenarios, seize the opportunities brought by the government’s renovation of old districts and buildings, make the best of its resources, build a platform for cooperation and communication hand in hand with other members in industries like urban renewal and existing buildings renovation policy research, urban construction and operation, planning and design, real estate development, etc.
Integrate Resources from All Sides, Discuss Urban Renewal and Renovation Models
Urban construction in China is gradually moving from an era of increment into an era that stresses both stock and increment. State and local government are actively promoting and expanding urbanization and urban renovation of existing buildings, speeding up the transformation and upgrading of our cities. The establishment of the Urban Renewal and Existing Buildings Renovation Branch is timely and necessary.
The assembly was held under the theme “Industrial Opportunities in the Era of Urban Renewal”. A number of professionals exchanged ideas on topics like “In Urban Renewal, Planning Comes First”, “Finance+ Activates Urban Renewal”, “Construction and Promotion of Ecological Cities”, discussed the opportunities and prospects for real estate, finance and relevant industries in the era of urban renewal, and revealed a number of possibilities of further development from the perspectives of planning, construction, operation, investment and financing, etc. The branch will integrate resources from all sides, explore the development models of urban renewal, build a platform for market interaction, promote the healthy development of urban renewal and existing buildings renovation.
