Recently, the cultural opera performance “A Journey between the East and the West — Through the Invisible Cities” sponsored by ARKIGEO Deign Association was held successfully in Shanghai & Florence-Sino Italian Design Exchange Center (Florence Base) constructed by DOBE.
The performance gave each room in Sino Italian Design Exchange Center a corresponding invisible city theme. The spectators and performers passed and felt the five cities mentioned in the works of Italo Calvini, the most famous writer in Italy in the 20th century: Tamara, Bauci, Sofronia, Cloe and Teodora. According to ARKIGEO Design Association’s person in charge Mr. Francesco Tullio, this art performance invited famous contemporary Italian artist Ms. Luisa del Campana to show a new journey of Marco Polo Style to the audience, let Emperor Kublai of Mongolia famous in the eastern world and Venetian traveler Marco Polo famous in the western world have an artistic dialogue at the end of the opera, taking the audience to have a journey through time and space.
Mr. Francsco Tullio expressed heartfelt thanks for the cultural exchange platform and support provided by Sino Italian Design Exchange Center (Florence Base). He hoped to promote further cooperation and communication between China and Italy in future with the help of Sino Italian Design Exchange Center’s diversified communication bridge.
