On Dec. 23rd, a party of 30 led by Zhang Guorui, CPPCC Deputy Secretary General and Vice Chairman of the Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese of Changning District, Shanghai, and Sheng Huanye, Standing Vice Chairman of Shanghai Overseas Returned Scholars Association and Shanghai Federation of Students Studying Abroad, visited DOBE E-manor of Changning.
Founded in 1919, Shanghai Overseas Returned Scholars Association is a high-level talent group of a long history and wide coverage. Its members spread all over the world, including 75 academicians of Chinese Academy of Sciences and 27 academicians of Chinese Academy of Engineering. Shanghai Overseas Returned Scholars Association gives full play to its resource advantage, widely unites domestic and overseas scholars, to carry out Casermation exchanges and collaborations, and play its role as a bond and bridge well. This visit to DOBE Group was aimed at seeking a better collaborative and win-win platform for internationalized development.
After looking around DOBE, the visitors from Shanghai Overseas Returned Scholars Association had in-depth exchanges with DOBE Group’s President Jia Bo on the operation and management of international cultural and creative industrial parks. Mr. Jia introduced the origin, renovation, and management experience of Shanghai & Florence –Sino Italian Design Exchange Center in detail, and said after becoming the extra venue of the Enterprise Pavilion of China Pavilion in EXPO Milano 2015, the Center’s Florence Base will walk on the stage of EXPO with more Chinese design forces and creative ideas, to welcome the attention from the whole world. Vice Chairman Sheng Huanye said: “we wish to take advantage of DOBE Group’s successful park operation experience, to open more cultural and creative industrial parks worldwide and work together to help Chinese enterprises go to the world.”
